What does Obama Mean in Japanese?
Our U.S. presidents name does translate in Japanese. What it translates to is "Little Beach."
There is a small town in Japan named Obama which supported Obama in his presidency. They became a famous small town wearing Obama T-shirts and helping to support our current United States president.
Obama was given a letter, a DVD, and chopsticks from the small town.
Obama thanked the city "for your support and encouragement and thank you for your thoughtful gift."
